Yep! We broke out the cowbells and got our spots on! If you’re not familiar with cow appreciation day, it’s one of the biggest days of the year for this wonderful restaurant chain. One of the Chick-fil-A employees said it was expected to be the busiest day of the year and the chain expected to host nearly 1 million cow-dressed guests. WOW!! There were whole families dressed up with their kiddos and getting their moo-ing on. We loved it! 
On July 11, or 7/11, the day each year this convenience store chain celebrates as 7-Eleven Day. In the Marlow house we know this day simply as Free Slurpee Day. It’s become an annual event in our house we love sharing with our sweet friends. 7-Eleven stores give away one free Slurpee per customer. Besides generating goodwill among customers, the event has proved curiously successful in boosting sales of Slurpee’s on the day of the giveaway(that’s the stores win by giving stuff Away). Fortunately we as the customer won out this year, instead of going with a 7.11-ounce free Slurpee as it has in the past, this year 7 eleven gave out Slurpee’s in it’s usual small size. 12 ounces.
